HENDRÉ DE VRIES
Wealth Manager & Financial Advisor

Since 2006, Hendré has gained extensive experience in the financial industry, spending a significant portion of his career at Investec Private Bank as a private banker where he serviced high-net-worth individuals. During this time, he was also part of the leadership team within the Pretoria banking team. His practical, hands-on approach, combined with his deep knowledge of financial markets, helps him guide individuals toward achieving their financial goals. Hendré values long-term relationships and takes pride in coaching his clients through their financial planning journeys. An enthusiastic sports enthusiast and proud father of quadruplets, Hendré enjoys supporting his children on the school sports fields during weekends.

ANCIA VAN DER MESCHT
Operational Director

With a career in the financial industry dating back to 1995, Ancia has a strong personal connection to RPS International as a family business. As operational director, she oversees the firm’s daily activities and ensures that the business operates smoothly. She, furthermore, ensures that the firm complies with legislation and regulations applicable to the financial services industry. Ancia’s ability to balance vision with attention to detail is key to the proactive and professional management of RPS International. When she’s not working, Ancia enjoys gardening, community involvement, and giving back to others.

ANNEMARIE TERBLANS
Investment Administrator

Annemarie is an experienced administrator responsible for investment administration and managing client relationships. Her exceptional attention to detail ensures that our administrative processes run smoothly, making her an invaluable asset to the team. Outside of work, Annemarie loves hiking and exploring scenic trails, whether in the mountains or on the beach. She also enjoys unwinding with a good book.

JANINE SMITH
Investment Administrator

Janine is involved with managing the operational requirements of RPS Imternational. Being highly-organised, detail-orientated and having exceptional multi-tasking skills, she promotes collaboration and works closely with her colleagues to ensure mutual support and productivity. She also assists with investment administration, with a specific focus on new business opportunities.

MALIZE STEENKAMP
Personal & Financial Assistant

Malize excels at assisting with the management of the day-to-day operations of RPS International, ensuring everything runs seamlessly. Her dedication to operational excellence allows the company to function smoothly, enabling leadership to focus on strategic growth and innovation When not at work, Malize enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, reading, and going to the beach.

A founder with vision

Braam van der Mescht, the founder of RPS International, established the family-owned business in 1979. With his visionary leadership and extensive experience as an investment manager, he built the company into the respected, independent boutique investment firm it is today. His deep understanding of financial markets and focus on proven investments played a key role in the firm’s success.

Throughout his career, Braam made sure to pass on his successful investment philosophy to the team. His ability to identify opportunities, manage risk, and stay informed through ongoing market research, became core principles at RPS International.

Even as Braam approached retirement, he thoughtfully planned for a seamless transition, preparing the next generation of leaders. Today, they continue to manage RPS International with the same dedication to prioritising the firm’s clients’ best interests, just as Braam did.
